The 48 Hour Film Extravaganza

Are you interested in working on a professional film set with your friends and peers? Look no further than the Tryka's 48 Hour Film Extravaganza. With the generous participation of Imagination Stage, Tryka is putting together our own 48 hour film competition.

The name says it all; teams have 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film. We meet Friday evening to learn the genre that has been selected for us along with certain plot details that we must include. Then we brainstorm the story, and the writer writes the script and gets it to the rest of the team by morning. On Saturday morning, the team edits the script and starts shooting it, maybe editing it as shooting is going on. On Sunday the shooting is finished and the final cut is produced.

It is a lot of work and a little stressful, but also a lot of fun.
